Keowee Key offers residents and their guests a 25-meter heated, indoor pool that is a part of the Fitness and Racquet Center complex. In addition, there are two outdoor salt-water pools, open throughout the spring, summer and fall.
The North Marina pool, beautifully positioned overlooking Lake Keowee, is a big hit with residents featuring a wading and deep area, umbrellas, tables and chairs and changing rooms. There is a snack bar, and a large meeting room that overlooks the pool and lake. The Southside Community Pool with its large deck is a favorite for sunbathers and loungers with umbrellas, cabana chairs and changing rooms.
Keowee Key boasts several parks and beaches along the shores of Lake Keowee. Two parks are wooded peninsulas jutting out into the northwest branch of Lake Keowee. Part of the original forest, they are shady, breezy and quiet, offering residents park benches, picnic tables, restrooms, small marinas and storage racks for their canoes and kayaks.
There are sandy beaches at North Marina, South Marina and Spinnaker Cove with restrooms and picnic facilities where residents and their families can enjoy the crystal-clear waters of Lake Keowee.
